MOSCOW, November 8. /tass/. The batch of three new domestic communications satellites "Messenger" is fully ready. This was reported on Monday in the press service of Roscosmos.
"The Academician M. F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems Company (ISS, part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) has completed the creation of three Gonets-M spacecraft," the report says.
According to the corporation, the devices ready to be sent to the cosmodrome have been placed in safe storage at the manufacturer.
"Their launch is planned to be carried out in 2022," Roscosmos clarified.
The new spacecraft were created to replenish the orbital grouping of the multifunctional personal satellite communication system Gonets-D1M and will be used to provide communication to hard-to-reach territories, organize data transmission networks in the interests of various departments, industrial, environmental and scientific monitoring.
