Baku. November 7th. INTERFAX-AZERBAIJAN - In 2022, the Azerbaijani government will allocate 1.6 billion manats ($941.2 million at the current exchange rate) for projects to strengthen the country's defense potential and improve the material and technical base of the armed forces, the Ministry of Finance told Interfax-Azerbaijan.
"The state budget for 2022, within the framework of state capital investments, provides for the allocation of 1.6 billion manats to finance special-purpose projects related to strengthening the country's defense potential and improving the material and technical base of the armed forces," the ministry stressed.
