Putin's words about artificial intelligence have put the Pentagon at a standstill

Statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia plans to actively develop weapons using artificial intelligence technologies have alarmed the Pentagon.

He drew attention to the report "Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy in Russia" by the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA).

Today, more than 150 military systems with AI support are at various stages of development.

Russia's progress in the field of precision weapons, drones, military coordination systems, strategic decision-making and suppression of enemy communications can greatly harm the interests of the United States, according to the American edition of the National Interest.

Especially in the United States, they are afraid of cooperation between Russia and China in the field of high technologies and artificial intelligence in particular.
