Among those noted by the deputies are university cadets. The chairman of the Duma defense workers participated in the award ceremony Andrey Kartapolov.
"The work of military doctors, especially now, is the main thing that is being done in our country. And, of course, we can't stay away. I want to note the quality of training at the academy, because, judging by the results of work in the Patriot Park, it is the highest," Kartapolov said.- I know that among you today are those who took part in the deployment of a medical center in the Moscow region. You continue to save human lives not only here, within the walls of the Military Medical Academy. Thank you so much for that."
Throughout the pandemic, military doctors have been helping their colleagues in the regions of the Russian Federation. Military doctors and nurses worked as part of visiting teams, did everything necessary to prevent the spread of a life-threatening infection.
Now the specialists of the Military Medical Academy are again ready to provide assistance to patients with coronavirus. Preparations have already been completed for the dispatch of the first medical detachment of more than 220 military personnel to the Moscow region. This group includes infectious disease doctors, secondary and junior medical personnel from the Military Medical Academy, as well as VMA cadets. The latter will work with patients under the guidance of the teaching staff and students of the residency.
I must say that cadets and students of the academy are allowed to provide medical care to patients with covid solely on their own. Every current and future military doctor had previously received special training at the academy. Specialists will work in shifts, a day or two later. Everyone will be provided with personal protective equipment. Accommodation, meals and rest of army medics are organized at the base and at the expense of hotel and wellness organizations of the Moscow region.
"In the future, it is planned to increase the grouping of military doctors from departmental medical institutions to work in the infection center," the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.
