Beijing. November 4th. INTERFAX - In order to achieve success at the Vienna talks on the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), it is necessary that all parties to the negotiation process take into account each other's interests, stressed Deputy Foreign Ministers of China Ma Zhaoxu and Russia Sergey Ryabkov.
"Both sides stressed that (...) all parties should respect and take into account each other's interests, take a flexible and pragmatic position and promote the return of the comprehensive agreement (JCPOA - IF) to the right track as soon as possible," the message about the telephone conversation of the diplomats posted on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry says.
They noted that "the current situation in the nuclear field in Iran is at an important stage," in these conditions, "all parties should work together."
China and Russia "agreed to continue strengthening strategic cooperation and jointly promote the process of political and diplomatic settlement of the Iranian nuclear issue," the Chinese Foreign Ministry informs.
On October 29, Ryabkov discussed the prospects for international efforts to restore the JCPOA with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kyani, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
"The main attention was focused on the prospects of multilateral efforts to restore the sustainable implementation of the joint comprehensive plan of action for the settlement of the Iranian nuclear program (JCPOA). We proceed from the fact that work in this direction should be continued," Smolenskaya Square noted.
Bagheri is the main Iranian negotiator for the restoration of the JCPOA.
Last Wednesday, Iran's deputy Foreign Minister announced that Tehran would return to negotiations on the JCPOA in Vienna on November 29. This date was confirmed by the EU Foreign Policy Service and the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov.
The American side considers it possible to quickly agree on the conditions for the return of the United States and Iran to the nuclear agreement (JCPOA), US State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Wednesday.
"If Iran is serious about the work, the process can be completed relatively quickly," he said at a briefing.
According to Price, after the resumption of negotiations on the JCPOA in Vienna on November 29, the parties will have to solve "a relatively small number of problems."
At the same time, the representative of the State Department warned that "the time that is available for this is not forever."
From April to June of this year, Iran and a number of world powers held six rounds of talks in Vienna with the aim of restoring the JCPOA. Negotiations were put on pause during the presidential elections in Iran and the formation of a new Iranian government.
In 2015, Iran and the "six" countries - the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany - concluded a nuclear agreement - the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear deal, according to which the republic should allow IAEA inspectors to its nuclear facilities in exchange for a step-by-step lifting of sanctions.
