The USA, Russia and China remain the strongest and most protected countries in the world. Yesterday, on November 1, the Global Firepower analytical center published a rating of the strongest armies in the world according to data for 2021.
Compared to last year, there are almost no changes in the top ten countries. Only Egypt shifted from 10th to 13th place, losing its position to Pakistan (this could only be a change in the calculation parameters in the ranking itself).

Of all the post-Soviet countries, the strongest after Russia are Ukraine (25th place), Belarus (50th place), Uzbekistan (51st place), Kazakhstan (61st place), Azerbaijan (63rd place), Lithuania (85th place), Georgia (92nd place). Tajikistan and Armenia complete the first hundred with 99th and 100th places, respectively.
When calculating the Power Index, analysts take into account more than 50 indicators, which, in addition to the number of military equipment, include mobilization potential, energy independence, mining volumes and the geographical location of the country. The presence of nuclear weapons does not count. You can view the full reting of Global Firepower 2021 here.
