Yekaterinburg. November 2. INTERFAX - The control check of combat training, in which over 70 thousand servicemen took part, was completed in the Central Military District (CVO), the press service of the CVO reported on Tuesday.
"Practical classes were held at 14 training grounds in the regions of Siberia, the Urals and the Volga region, as well as on the territory of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. During the combat training check, the level of preparedness of military command bodies and the ability to perform combat training tasks in any situation conditions, taking into account the experience of modern armed conflicts, were determined," the message says.
According to the results of the inspection, one compound and 84 units meet the requirements for the assignment of the honorary name "Shock", the Central Military District notes. These, according to the military, are 6% more than last year. Also, the number of military personnel who successfully passed the tests for assignment (confirmation) of class qualifications increased by 8%.
The inspection took place under the general supervision of the commander of the Central Military District, Alexander Lapin.
