"Vityaz" was included in the list of the most common submachine guns

The American edition of 19FortyFive has compiled a list of the world's best submachine guns. The article noted that in the modern world they are increasingly used in the armed forces.

The Russian "Vityaz" submachine gun entered the top of the most popular. It is a smaller version of the Kalashnikov assault rifle chambered for pistol caliber. It is equipped with a folding butt with an adjustable cheek. The rate of fire of the Vityaz is 700 rounds per minute, the maximum range is 200 meters. It has a Picatinny rail for convenient installation of optics, flashlights, lasers and other equipment.

The top five also included the Belgian FN P90, the American Mk.18 Mod 0 and two German submachine guns - Heckler & Koch MP7 and Heckler & Koch MP5.
