Drones bought by Kiev are now Ukrainian, not Turkish - Cavusoglu

Moscow. October 31. INTERFAX - Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu urges Ukraine not to associate the Bayraktar drones supplied to it with his country.

"In our fight against terrorism in different countries, we have encountered different weapons produced in different countries, including in Russia, but we have never blamed Russia for this. Ukraine should also stop using the name of our country," Cavusoglu said on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rome, answering a question from journalist Pavel Zarubin for the Moscow TV program. He stressed that "when a country acquires any defensive weapons from us or from any other country, they cease to be Turkish, Russian or Ukrainian."
