SIMFEROPOL, October 30 - RIA Novosti. The head of the Crimean Parliament's committee on People's diplomacy and interethnic relations, Yuri Hempel, warned the US authorities against provocations off the coast of Crimea against the background of their destroyers entering the Black Sea.
Earlier it became known that the US destroyer Porter, armed with cruise missiles, entered the Black Sea, and the forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet are monitoring it.
"Such unfriendly antics on the part of the United States can only be called a provocation. American ships have become more frequent with their presence at the borders of our country. No matter how much they would like to shake stability in the Black Sea region, Russia has the strength and means to prevent this and stop any provocation, including off the coast of Crimea," Hempel told RIA Novosti.
According to him, Crimea is reliably protected, and no attempts by "the Americans and their minions to rattle weapons at the borders of the peninsula" will shake the calm of the Crimeans.
