TSAMTO, October 29. Some details of Kyrgyzstan's acquisition of the Orlan-10E and Bayraktar TB2 tactical UAVs in Russia and Turkey have become known, as stated by Kamchybek Tashiev, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, on October 21.
According to Shephard Media, Kyrgyzstan has ordered six Orlan-10E UAVs and three Bayraktar TB2, which was confirmed by officials in the Bishkek government.
According to Shephard Defense Insight, the cost of all nine unmanned aerial vehicles could total almost $17 million.
Recall that K.Tashiev said a week ago that Turkish UAVs should arrive in the country in the near future. He also announced the purchase of about 40 armored vehicles in the United Arab Emirates.
