Istanbul. October 27. INTERFAX - The Russian patrol ship Dmitry Rogachev, having passed the Bosphorus, entered the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Istanbul observers reported on social networks, publishing photos of its passage through the strait.
"Dmitry Rogachev" is a new patrol ship of Project 22160, which recently joined the Black Sea Fleet. It is based in Novorossiysk.
According to the press service of the Black Sea Fleet, in February, Dmitry Rogachev was involved in the international exercises AMAN-2021 in the Indian Ocean, in which, at the invitation of the Pakistani side, representatives of the naval forces of 45 countries took part.
In August, the ship conducted a complex of exercises on air defense and naval combat in the Black Sea.
The day before, a large landing ship of the Russian Navy "Orsk" returned to the Black Sea from another trip to Syria. According to the Istanbul observers, the BDK of the Black Sea Fleet "Orsk" is returning to Sevastopol from the Syrian port of Tartus, where the logistics base of the Russian Navy is located in the Mediterranean Sea.
