MOSCOW, October 26. /tass/. A Sri Lankan military delegation visited the Kantemirov Tank Division of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District in the Moscow region. This was reported on Tuesday in the press service of the ZVO.

"A military delegation led by the Acting Chief of the Defense Staff of the Armed Forces - Commander of the Ground Forces <...> of the Republic of Sri Lanka, General Shavendra Silva, visited the Guards Kantemirov Tank Division of the Western Military District, stationed in the Moscow region," the report says.

According to the press service, the commander of the guard unit, Colonel Yevgeny Zhuravlev, held a briefing for representatives of the military delegation. In the military camp, the guests got acquainted with the objects of educational infrastructure, armed with samples of military equipment.
