MOSCOW, October 26. /tass/. Roscosmos was able to save 800 million rubles of the federal budget thanks to the revision of the insurance activity processes. This was announced on Tuesday by Maxim Ovchinnikov, First Deputy Director General of Roscosmos for Economics and Finance, during the plenary session of the Marathon of Innovators.
"Rational planning in the tax sphere with costs of 20 million rubles gave us an effect of 7 billion rubles annually. The revision of the processes in insurance activity gives us savings of 800 million rubles for the federal budget for space risk insurance in three years," Ovchinnikov said.
In early September, Roscosmos told TASS that the state corporation managed to save over 450 million rubles in 2019-2020 when insuring missile launches. In particular, the process was influenced by the trouble-free launches.
