Drones will indicate the location of objects and continuously transmit their coordinates to the control center
MOSCOW, October 25. /tass/. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) capable of flying at high speeds in a wooded area and looking for targets there - from fugitive criminals to rare animals - are planned to be created in Russia. This was reported to TASS by Boris Vishnyakov, Deputy head of the Software Complexes Department of the State Research Institute of Aviation Systems (GosNIIAS).
"Work is underway to create drones capable of moving at high speeds in forests and searching for any objects," he said.
According to him, in this way it is possible to track down fugitive criminals or saboteurs. "It will be simply impossible to escape from such persecution. Drones will indicate the location of objects and continuously transmit their coordinates to the control center," Vishnyakov stressed. In the civilian sphere, such drones can be used to search, track the movements and photograph rare animals.
"Solving the problem of creating such drones is a matter of the near future, in the next year or two it will be solved, I am sure," he said.
