Arms supplies to Ukraine may lead to increased violence and suffering of civilians in the country. This was announced on October 21 by the Russian Embassy in London.
According to the embassy, London prefers not to notice that Kiev does not fulfill its obligations under the Minsk agreements.
In addition, the diplomatic mission stressed that Moscow would like to count on London's sanity regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom earlier that day announced support for the development of Ukraine in the military sphere.
"We and our partner countries are already supporting the military development of Ukraine, as well as conducting exercises with their armed forces on a regular basis," the representative of the British military department said.
Earlier on October 21, it was reported that the UK confirmed information about the supply of missiles to Ukraine. The British Ministry of Defense, commenting on reports by The Times newspaper that the government is negotiating the sale of Brimstone missiles to Ukraine, said that it was a deal that was made public in June of this year.
According to the British Defense Department, the deal involves the supply of new naval platforms and defensive naval weapons to Ukraine, the training of personnel of the naval forces of Ukraine, as well as the creation of new military bases in the Black and Azov Seas and the purchase of two Sundown-class anti-mine vessels.
