TSAMTO, October 20. The Russian military base in Tajikistan will be completely re-equipped with modern means of communication by the end of the year.
This was announced on October 20, on the Day of the military Signalman, by the head of the communications Department of the Central Military District (CVO), Major General Gennady Tuchin.
"By the end of this year, we will complete equipping the communications units of the Russian military base in Tajikistan with modern samples of special equipment," G. Tuchin said.
To replace the equipment of earlier modifications, the command and staff vehicles R-149MA, radio relay stations R-419LM1, complex communication hardware P-243 and satellite communication station R-441LM will be delivered to the compound, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
