This was reported to journalists in the office of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov following his speech at the government hour in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
"Separately, Borisov noted an increase in the quality of products supplied to the military - over the past three years, the number of complaints from the troops has significantly decreased," the report says.
Borisov recalled that in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was possible to ensure the smooth operation of defense industry organizations under the state defense order and prevent the disruption of its execution.
"In close cooperation with Rospotrebnadzor, the Ministry of Health of Russia and local authorities, the necessary measures of sanitary and epidemiological protection of people working in the defense industry and performing tasks of the State Defense Ministry were developed and provided. Borisov also mentioned the amendments made to the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of procurement, which provide for the possibility of changing the terms of the state contract (in terms of deadlines and prices) in connection with the spread of a new coronavirus infection," the report says.
He told the senators that, by agreement of the parties, an increase in the amount of the advance payment to 80% was applied and 100% advance payment of purchases of electronic component base was carried out, installments were provided for the payment of tax payments.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted that since April 2020, the activities of defense industry organizations have been monitored in the conditions of the spread of coronavirus infection and their fulfillment of state defense order tasks. "For almost a year and a half, the actual output of employees of defense industry organizations to work is from 80 to 90%, and their provision with personal protective equipment is 97%," the office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation reported.
