TSAMTO, October 20. The United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) continues to centralize the management of enterprises belonging to the corporation.
The following companies of the division join the parent company of the UAC transport aviation division – PJSC Il – and will continue their activities already in the status of branches: JSC Aviastar-SP, PJSC VASO, JSC EMZ named after V.M.Myasishchev. JSC "Il-Resurs" and JSC "UAC-TS" also join PJSC "Il". Such decisions were made in June 2021 at the meetings of shareholders of the respective companies. Applications for making relevant entries in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities will be sent to the Federal Tax Service by the end of October.
According to the previously adopted decisions of the Board of Directors of PJSC Il, the company will have a Branch of PJSC Il – Aviastar in Ulyanovsk, a branch of PJSC Il in Zhukovsky named after V.M.Myasishchev in Zhukovsky, and a branch of PJSC Il – VASO in Voronezh.
"The merger of the division's enterprises is designed to simplify the management of transport aviation programs, increase the efficiency of the division as a whole and significantly reduce management costs," said Sergey Yarkov, First Deputy General Director of PJSC UAC, Managing Director of PJSC Il. "Closer interaction between the Design Bureau, pilot production, serial enterprises and the flight test base in Zhukovsky within a single structure will allow us to build a seamless process of introducing design developments into the series, as well as expand the capabilities of pilot production in order to create new models of equipment faster. At the same time, the core competencies, areas of production and design activities of the merged enterprises, as well as social guarantees for employees are preserved," said Sergey Yarkov, head of the Transport aviation Division.
Centralization of the management of UAC enterprises is carried out in order to eliminate duplicate administrative functions, reduce costs, create corporate competence and service centers, expand cooperation of production sites for more efficient implementation of aircraft construction programs. At the same time, reputable design schools continue to develop.
Recall that in July 2020, by the decision of the shareholders' meeting of PJSC "Il", the powers of the sole executive body (EIO) in relation to PJSC "Il" were transferred to PJSC "UAC".
As part of the corporate transformation, the functions of the EIO of the parent company of the military aviation division of PJSC Sukhoi Company and the center of the strategic aviation division of PJSC Tupolev were also transferred to the UAC earlier.
