Moscow. October 18. INTERFAX - Russian law enforcement agencies and special services should introduce modern information technologies, including artificial intelligence, according to experts of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
The issues of the introduction of information technologies into the activities of law enforcement agencies and special services were discussed at the Scientific Council of the Security Council of Russia held on Monday, said the press secretary of the staff of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Anoshin.
"Attention was drawn to the need to increase the level of digitalization of law enforcement agencies and special services, the introduction and use of modern information technologies in their activities, including artificial intelligence, fifth-generation mobile communications, virtual and augmented reality," Anoshin said.
According to him, the experts discussed legal and organizational issues of using information and communication systems to ensure public and state security in conditions of a significant increase in crimes committed with the help of digital technologies.
