NASA has delivered the James Webb telescope to the Kourou Cosmodrome in French Guiana. The cost of the equipment is estimated at $10 billion, the Izvestia TV channel reports.

NASA has delivered the James Webb telescope to the Kourou Cosmodrome in French Guiana. The cost of the equipment is estimated at $10 billion, the Izvestia TV channel reports.

The telescope was transported in a container with a controlled environment. The James Webb traveled thousands of kilometers to its destination. The device will be launched on December 18. An expensive space telescope will replace Hubble.
