The Chinese spacecraft Shenzhou-13 with three cosmonauts docked with the main compartment of the PRC orbital station. This was reported on Saturday, October 16, by CGTN TV channel.
The ship was docked at 6:36 Beijing time (1:16 Moscow time).
The launch of the Changzheng-2F carrier rocket with the Shenzhou-13 manned spacecraft took place from the Jiuquan cosmodrome in the north of the country on the night of October 15.
The team included Zhai Zhigang, who in September 2008 became the first Chinese spacewalker, female cosmonaut Wang Yaping, as well as Ye Guangfu, for whom the flight was the first in his career.
The astronauts will make two or three spacewalks, work with the manipulator, and also carry out a number of scientific experiments.
This manned launch is the second in the current year. The astronauts will stay in orbit twice as long as the previous time - six months.
On September 17, China Central Television reported that the descent capsule of the Shenzhou-12 spacecraft landed at the Dongfeng test site in northern China with three astronauts on board.
The ship undocked from the Chinese Tiangong orbital station for the return to Earth of three astronauts - Nie Haisheng, Liu Bomin and Tang Hongbo. During the three months of work, the astronauts went into space twice.
