Newsweek (USA): Russia says an American warship tried to enter its waters, but was expelled

Russia and the United States again found themselves on the verge of an armed conflict due to an incident near the territorial waters of Russia. This time the incident occurred in The Sea of Japan. An American tried to enter our waters under the pretext of lifting a helicopter. But this number didn't work out for him. However, the ships got closer to the most dangerous distance of 60 meters.

A Russian warship blocked the path of an American destroyer, which, according to the Ministry of Defense, tried to enter Russian territorial waters on Friday.

"Admiral Tributs" came close to the US Navy destroyer "Chafey", which ignored numerous warnings and demands to leave the area, which is closed to navigation due to Russian artillery firing.

Then the American ship changed course and left the area.
