MOSCOW, Oct 15 - RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Defense has published a video of the operation to displace the American destroyer Chafee in neutral waters far from Vladivostok.
The footage shows how the ship turns towards the open sea.
The incident occurred today between 17:00 and 17:50 (10:00 Moscow time) in the waters of the Sea of Japan.
As the destroyer approached, the Russian ship Admiral Tributs demanded that it change course, since the area was closed to shipping due to firing within the framework of Russian-Chinese exercises. The Americans began to signal that they were lifting a helicopter off the board and could not change the route.
"Admiral Tributs" began to displace the violators, and only when there were less than 60 meters between them, Chafee retreated.
