Novosibirsk Instrument-making Plant has developed augmented reality glasses, they are integrated into the equipment of the infantryman "Ratnik". This was reported on October 15 by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in the military-industrial complex.
According to him, the glasses allow you to display additional information from the command on the glazing, display an electronic sight and broadcast video from external sources, in particular, show a soldier an image of the terrain from drones.
The glasses can be equipped with a night vision system and a thermal imager, and their degree of protection is similar to protective binocular glasses, which are also included in the "Warrior" equipment.
The estimated cost of one set of glasses will be over 500 thousand rubles.
