The deadline for the readiness of the country's first military commissariat, modernized as part of a large-scale project of the Russian Defense Ministry, has become known.
It is planned to open in the Tver region by the beginning of the spring draft-2022. This was announced by the governor of the region Igor Rudenya. "The new digital military enlistment office should become a flagship, exemplary facility as part of the further development of the network of military enlistment offices of the Russian Federation," he said after a meeting in Moscow with Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov.
Recall that the Tver region has been identified as a pilot for the development of the project of the Ministry of Defense to bring all military commissariats and selection points to modern requirements. In June, while in the Tver region, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the launch of this project.
According to the minister, its implementation will make military enlistment offices such that "one would like to come there not under compulsion or on an agenda, but at will."
Later, at a conference call in the Ministry of Defense, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, informed Shoigu that in the Moscow region it was possible to reduce from 30 to 20 days the time of registration of citizens for military registration in the military enlistment office. "But you set the task to bring this service to one day. I think we will be able to report on this by the end of the year," the governor said.
He also voiced the maximum task - to digitize the service so that it can be received on a regional portal, that is, without a mandatory visit to a multifunctional center or a military commissariat.
"Now we are working on this issue with colleagues from the Ministry of Defense. This will require database integration and special attention, taking into account the information that constitutes a state secret. But we are working, and with your support, everything will work out here, too," Vorobyov has no doubt.
And the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov said that the development program of 14 military commissariats of the region will be fully completed by the end of 2023.
"We have already started implementing some issues of the program," Aksenov said.
This week, the Ministry of Defense released some data on how the optimization of the work and improvement of the material base of military commissariats is currently underway. "It is planned to supply there new office equipment, modern communication systems and high-comfort vehicles for the transportation of conscripts.
Work is also underway to create a unified electronic database of citizens called up for service," the military said.
