At the 10th International Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment "Partner-2021" held in Belgrade, the Serbian armored personnel carrier "Lazanski", created in yUgoimport-SDPR, was demonstrated for the first time.
The four-axle combat vehicle is named after the Serbian ambassador to Russia Miroslav Lazansky, who passed away in early August of this year.
The novelty immediately attracted the attention of military specialists who arrived at this forum. Compared to other foreign wheeled armored vehicles, it has exceptional firepower, which is provided by the Russian uninhabited AU-220M combat module with a 57 mm automatic cannon and a 7.62 mm machine gun.
Ammunition - 80 shells and 500 rounds, respectively. It is known that long-range anti-tank guided missiles can be installed as additional weapons.
Judging by the published technical characteristics, the APC can become a platform for creating a whole family of equipment weighing from 26,000 to 36,000 kg. At the same time, in the maximum configuration, it can withstand hitting the frontal projection of 30 mm ammunition, in more lightweight versions, protection against 25 mm shells attacking from any direction is provided. Also, the designers have thoroughly strengthened the mine resistance.
The power of the diesel engine is 700 hp. Data on the maximum developed speed has not been made public, but it can be assumed that the APC will be able to develop at least 100 km/h along the highway. The same applies to the fuel reserve, approximately 800-1000 km. Capacity - 13 fully equipped military personnel.
The production will be organized in the city of Chachak. The approximate price of an armored vehicle, depending on the version, is 2-2.5 million euros.
