Belarus received upgraded 2S3M "Acacia" self-propelled howitzers from Russia

TSAMTO, October 12. The updated self-propelled howitzers "Acacia" were delivered to the Belarusian army from Russia, after major repairs, modern communications equipment, as well as chemical reconnaissance and night vision devices were installed on them, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.

"Servicemen of the 11th separate mechanized brigade are adopting self-propelled howitzers 2S3M "Acacia", which arrived after major repairs at the Ural Plant of Transport Engineering," the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reports.

As noted, during the modernization work, all components and assemblies were completely replaced. The equipment is equipped with modern Belarusian-made communications equipment, as well as chemical reconnaissance and night vision devices. Thus, as a result of major repairs, the resource of self-propelled howitzers has been completely restored.

Acacia is a development of the Ural Plant of Transport Engineering. The caliber of the self-propelled howitzer is 152 mm. SG allows you to suppress and destroy manpower, artillery and mortar batteries, rocket launchers, armored vehicles, as well as control points of tactical means of nuclear attack. SG 2S3M is in service with Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Syria and a number of other countries.
