TSAMTO, October 11. In the interests of the Ground Forces, experimental design work is underway aimed at developing promising heavy and medium-class robotic complexes.
In these experimental design works, the issue of integrated control of ground and air robotic means will be worked out due to the functioning of the robotics software and hardware complex: receiving, processing and transmitting intelligence information using UAVs to the ground control point of combat robotic complexes.
For the first time, the URAN-9 and nErekhta robotic complexes were used in combat formations at the ZAPAD-2021 SSU. They were assigned the task of working out individual tactical episodes in terms of conducting reconnaissance and defeating the enemy. Their weapons (30-mm automatic cannon, machine gun, anti-tank guided missiles) all detected targets in the exercise were hit. The RTK was controlled by operators located at control points at a distance of 1.5 km, where they observed the defeat of a simulated enemy in real time, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
