The modernized UAZ-3151 was demonstrated during demonstration performances by the servicemen of the People's Militia of the LPR. According to the Luhansk Information Center, the event is timed to the seventh anniversary of the establishment of the defense Department of the republic.

Local craftsmen have lengthened the aft part of the SUV, turning it into a fairly convenient platform for placing various weapons. In the rear side there is a small door designed for entry and exit.
Light booking appeared on the sides, the roof of the cabin of the presented sample became metal. Grenade launchers were installed to create camouflage smoke screens. The spare wheel has moved to the hood.
Armament is very unusual - no one has used such a technical solution before. The fighters installed four 7.62 mm Kalashnikov machine guns together at once. This allows you to achieve a high density of fire and reliably destroy various targets, such as enemy infantry groups.
In Lugansk, specially prepared UAZs were shown earlier. For example, last June, at the parade dedicated to the anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Jeeps with large-caliber DShK machine guns and guided anti-tank missile systems "Fagot" and "Competition" took part in the solemn march.
Also then it was possible to see cars with PTRD - 14.5 mm anti-tank guns of the Degtyarev system of the 1941 model, which are now adapted to neutralize snipers.
It is known that similar equipment is also in service with the People's Militia of the DPR, where Ulyanovsk vehicles with ATGMs are used, among other things, for the defense of the coast of the Sea of Azov.
