TSAMTO, October 7. The sappers of the Western Military District (ZVO) received two robotic complexes of mine clearance "URAN-6".
The range of these machines is 1 km from the operators who control them. Despite the small size and weight of 6-7 tons, the complexes are able to withstand blasting up to 60 kg of TNT. In addition, their equipment allows you to determine the type of dangerous objects detected, depending on which operators can choose the most effective and safe method of neutralization.
The URAN-6 complexes will significantly increase the safety of sappers during the extraction and neutralization of explosive objects, including those from the Great Patriotic War, found by the civilian population.
The operators of the complexes have been trained at the mine action center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and with the beginning of the winter training period will begin to master the sapper robots, the press service of the Western Military District reports.
