KIEV, Oct 7 - RIA Novosti. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that he discussed security issues in the Black Sea at a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, and the countries will cooperate to achieve this goal.
Cavusoglu began his two-day visit to Ukraine on Thursday.
"Security in the Black Sea was one of the key topics of our talks today. We agree with Mevlut that it is necessary to ensure a balance of security and interests in the Black Sea. The Black Sea should not be a space for aggressive actions by any country," Kuleba said at a briefing on Thursday following a meeting with Cavusoglu.
According to him, Ukraine and Turkey will cooperate intensively to achieve this goal.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova said that Kiev is preparing a conference on security issues in the Black Sea.
