According to the head of Roscosmos, five MARKER robotic platforms have now been developed: two on a wheeled chassis and three tracked
MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. The scientific and technical groundwork formed during the creation of the MARKER robotics platform can form the basis for the creation of equipment for use on the Moon. This was written on Thursday by the head of the state corporation "Roscosmos" Dmitry Rogozin in his Telegram channel.
"The formed scientific and technical reserve and technologies, including those with elements of artificial intelligence, will be used in the creation of equipment for the exploration and development of the Moon and planets of the Solar System," he wrote.
According to Rogozin, five MARKER robotic platforms have now been developed: two on a wheeled chassis and three tracked. Also, designers are already working out the possibility of autonomous movement of both individual platforms and platforms in a group.
The robotic platform "Marker" in security execution was involved in patrolling the Vostochny cosmodrome as part of testing. "Marker" works both in radio-controlled and offline modes. At the cosmodrome, the robotic platform fulfills the tasks of autonomous patrolling of ground infrastructure along dedicated routes. In addition, its tasks include identifying violators, identifying and intercepting them, as well as countering terrorist acts, fighting drones.
