A number of technical problems have been identified on the International Space Station (ISS) that interfere with the normal operation of its Russian segment. This was announced on October 4 at the conference "Scientific Space of the XXI century: challenges, solutions, breakthroughs" by the head of the flight segment of the station, Deputy general designer of the rocket and space corporation ENERGIA Vladimir Solovyov.
"There are already a lot of troubles that, frankly, interfere with the normal operation of the Russian segment," Interfax quoted him as saying.
On September 30, NASA denied damage to the radiator panel on the ISS.
"The damage to the radiator panel is not new and is described in a technical report in 2012. The station continues to operate normally," the department noted at the time.
On October 4, it was reported that actress Yulia Peresild, director Klim Shipenko and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov were approved for the flight to the ISS. The film group starts on Tuesday to shoot the first feature film with the working title "Challenge" in orbit. The launch of the sOyuz MS-19 spacecraft to the ISS with cinematographers is scheduled for October 5 at 11:55 Moscow time.
