To participate in the "Conquerors of Khaybar" exercises, the Iranian army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps continue to concentrate personnel and military equipment of various types on the border with Azerbaijan.
The composition of the already deployed formations has been made public in telegram channels and on various websites, including on the forum "bRavery2004". So, according to the latest data, deployed in the north of the country:
16th Armored Division from Qazvin as part of the 116th and 261st Brigades
21st Infantry Division from Tabriz
64th Infantry Division from Urmia as part of the 164th Infantry Brigade
31st Division "aShura" of the IRGC
The 65th airborne brigade of special purpose as part of one of the battalions.
Transferred to airfields in border provinces:
Su-24, F-14 Tomcat and F-4E pHantom fighters and bombers
Il-76 and C-130 Hercules transport aircraft
AH-1 Cobra and CH-47 Chinook helicopters
Missile systems are additionally deployed in the north of Iran to strengthen it:
FAJR-5 and FAJR-5C MLRS with an effective firing range of up to 70 km
Launchers of ballistic missiles "Fatah-313" and "Zulfikar" with a range of up to 700 km.
At the same time, according to military experts, tensions between the two neighboring countries are only increasing, so the transfer of new formations and units will continue.
