NASA and SpaceX have announced the date of sending the Crew Dragon spacecraft with several astronauts on board to the International Space Station (ISS), according to the website The European Space Research Authority (ESA).
Crew Dragon will leave for the ISS on October 30. Sunday, October 31, will remain a backup date in case a second launch attempt is needed. The launch will be carried out using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle from the launch complex of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
"The astronauts will embark on a long—term scientific mission aboard the orbiting laboratory, where they will live and work," the statement stresses.
