The document can be signed in 2021
MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Roscosmos plans to sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of lunar exploration with the European Space Agency this year, according to the report of the state corporation for 2020.
"An agreement has been prepared, agreed with foreign partners and approved by the government of the Russian Federation <...> between the state corporation ROSCOSMOS and the European Space Agency (ESA) regarding cooperation in the field of lunar exploration (it is planned to sign this document in 2021)," the document says.
In March of this year, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin and the head of the Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA) Zhang Kejian signed a memorandum of understanding on behalf of the governments on cooperation in the field of creating an International Scientific Lunar Station (MNLS).
