TSAMTO, September 30. RSC MiG (part of PJSC UAC of Rostec State Corporation) has prematurely completed the execution of contracts for the supply of components necessary to maintain the serviceability of the fleet of MiG-29 aircraft of the Bulgarian Air Force.
"During the negotiations held in August, the leadership of the Bulgarian Air Force and the MiG Corporation agreed to supply components for the MiG-29 ahead of schedule. Last week we shipped the final batch of aviation equipment under the existing contracts. The corporation's early fulfillment of its obligations will significantly increase the combat readiness of the Bulgarian Air Force," said Andrey Gerasimchuk, Managing Director of MiG Corporation.
The parties also discussed promising areas for the development of cooperation.
"In connection with the information that appeared in the media about the allegedly planned termination of contracts for the maintenance of MiG-29 aircraft concluded with the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense, we inform you: the information given in the article of the Bulgarian portal Monitor, which is referenced by a number of Russian media, is devoted exclusively to the repair of guided missiles R-27. MiG Corporation does not develop or manufacture missiles. We develop and manufacture MiG aircraft. The company did not conclude contracts with Bulgaria for the maintenance and repair of R-27 aircraft missiles and did not participate in carrying out these works,"- quotes "АвиаПорт.Ru " press release of RSC MiG.
