The military of the Russian Federation and Pakistan, during the joint exercise "Friendship-2021" at the Krasnodar Territory training ground, used the latest robotic complex "URAN-6" to mine objects. This was reported in the press service of the Southern Military District (SE).
"The military personnel of the special purpose unit of Pakistan studied the use of robotic mine clearance systems "URAN-6", got acquainted with the work of Russian colleagues in the construction of engineering barriers, demining of terrain, objects and overcoming mine-explosive barriers," the message says.
The military robot overcame mine-explosive barriers and cleared various objects. Also, military engineers of the Southern Military District conducted classes on the electrical method of exploding structures."The Pakistani military also studied the installation of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, improvised explosive devices and non-explosive barriers," the South-Eastern Military District clarified.
The joint Russian-Pakistani exercise "Druzhba-2021" will last until October 9 and will end with a joint tactical and special lesson on the action of an assault company during the storming of a settlement and objects. About 100 servicemen of the Armed forces of Pakistan and about 100 military personnel of the Southern Military District are taking part in the exercises.
