INTERFAX - The number of cyberattacks on the information resources of the Far East, including enterprises of the military-industrial complex and healthcare, has doubled in a year, said the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev.
"In 2020 and the first half of this year, 8 thousand facts of negative impact on the information systems of public authorities were revealed in the district. Over the past year (since the previous similar meeting in September 2020), the number of computer attacks has doubled, including on the information infrastructure of enterprises of the military-industrial complex, organizations of science, education and healthcare," he said at a meeting on national security in the Far Eastern Federal District.
