New York (UN). September 27. INTERFAX-Israel will not allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Monday.
"Israel will work tirelessly to solve this problem: we will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons," he said, speaking at the UN General Assembly.
According to Bennett, Iran's nuclear program "is at a key stage. Tehran ignored all the "red lines", did not allow inspectors to visit it."
The prime minister pointed out that Iran is now enriching uranium to 60% and, thus, "is one step away from obtaining uranium suitable for creating nuclear weapons."
He believes that the international community often does nothing and ignores the alarming information coming from Iran on the topic of the nuclear program.
