The launch took place at 14:19 local time (09:19 Moscow time) from the Jiuquan cosmodrome (northwestern Gansu Province) using a solid-fuel carrier rocket "Kuaizhou-1A". The device has been successfully launched into the specified orbit.
This satellite is designed for the development of smart cities, conducting resource exploration, collecting information for land surveying, forestry needs and environmental monitoring.
This launch was the 11th in a row for the launch vehicles of the Kuaizhou series.
