NASA
The government organization NASA, following a number of other American federal structures, officially entrusted its documents and communication systems to Box. Cloud technologies and storage will be used to process almost all the agency's working documentation. This was done primarily to ensure reliable remote work of 18,000 employees scattered throughout the United States.
NASA began working with Box back in 2017, when the Johnson Space Center entrusted them to serve the Department of Mission Control in Space. It turned out that the agency's own network services did not work in the best way, so the employees used unauthorized file sharing with might and main. The appeal to Box allowed the administration to restore order in the networks and increase the security of the internal digital space to the SBU and ITAR levels. Now documents are transmitted to the ISS via Box services, and the Box Relay system is used for the rapid distribution of new instructions and guidance documentation. The Box company has been tested by the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Information Systems Agency, it meets the FedRAMP standards. Therefore, NASA is not afraid to trust Us with confidential information, and they are proud that they can contribute to space exploration.
