The company said that the flight is planned for 2023 or 2024
MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/. The Space Adventures company is negotiating with potential space tourists who are ready to fly to the ISS on the Soyuz and go into outer space. This was announced to journalists on Sunday by the head of the company's representative office in Russia, Sergey Kostenko.
"There are potential customers, we are working. <...> This is not one, not two. We are still determining who will fly, " Kostenko told reporters.
When asked if there are people who want to make a spacewalk, the head of the company's representative office in the Russian Federation answered in the affirmative. The flight is planned for 2023 or 2024. Kostenko added that a space tourist during a spacewalk will use a spacesuit that is already on the ISS.
In June last year, the Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) Energia announced that one of the space tourists during a flight to the International Space Station in 2023 will make a spacewalk together with a professional cosmonaut under a contract between the RSC and Space Adventures Inc. (USA).
