Despite reports that the deal between Russia and Algeria for the supply of S-400 Triumph was periodically refuted, it became known that a few days ago this African state still received the first S - 400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
This is evidenced by the corresponding photos taken in one of the ports of Algeria, on which it is easy to identify the S-400 Triumph air defense system.
Today, Algeria is the fourth country in the world that has Russian S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems in service-in addition to Russia, China and Turkey also belong here.
At the same time, no details of the supply of Russian air defense systems have yet been announced, although, apparently, we are talking about at least one division.
Avia.pro writes that it is noteworthy that the first data on the likely purchase of Russian S-400s by the Algerian army appeared together with data on the acquisition of Russian fifth-generation fighters. This does not exclude the possibility that Algeria will arm itself with Su-57 fighters in the near future.
