MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. The Russian orbital service station will include seven modules and a short-radius centrifuge. This is stated in the terms of reference for the research project on preparing for a flight to the Moon, published by Roscosmos on the public procurement website.
"Development of the draft tactical and technical specifications for the module-slipway, < ... > universal node module, < ... > < ... > laboratory module, < ... > < ... > free-floating model, < ... > < ... > transformable module, < ... > < ... > base unit, < ... > < ... > gateway module, < ... > < ... > a centrifuge with a short radius," the document says.
As stated in the task, the station will be part of the infrastructure for carrying out flights to the Moon.
According to the document posted on the state procurement website, Roscosmos will spend about 1.7 billion rubles to study the conditions of astronauts ' stay on the Moon and near-lunar orbits.
