During the exercises in the Crimea, coastal anti-ship missile systems "Bastion" struck at sea targets. This was reported today in the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet.
The shooting took place at the Opuk training ground as part of large-scale exercises of the ships of the Crimean and Novorossiysk naval bases of the Black Sea Fleet.
Combat crews of the Bastion complexes were assigned the task of detecting and destroying training naval targets with anti-ship missiles. Unmanned aerial vehicles were used to track the ship's group of a conditional enemy with deck aircraft.
- After receiving the target designations, the calculations of the Bastion BPRK went into position, brought the complexes to battle and launched missiles at the detected training targets - two large shipboard target shields, - said the head of the department Alexey Rulev.
The fighters also conducted training on the withdrawal of complexes from under attack, equipment and camouflage of starting positions, replenishment of ammunition.
