Copter T-650
Currently, UAVs are widely used for the delivery of goods with a small weight. It is obvious that some developers are already looking for opportunities to create heavy-duty drones.
British BAE Systems and Malloy Aeronautics are developing a T-650 drone with a payload capacity of up to 300 kg and a flight range of up to 30 km on a single charge. Without cargo, it will be able to overcome up to 80 km. The T-650 is designed for both autonomous and remotely controlled flight with a maximum speed of up to 140 km / h.

There is very little information about the new product yet, however, as reported in the BAE, the streamlined body of the T-650 quadcopter will be made of carbon fiber, and large main rotors will be placed at a remote distance from the body for the convenience of cargo transportation. According to the developers, all this will make it as energy efficient as possible. The heavy-duty drone will be used primarily for the needs of the armed forces – the delivery of ammunition, evacuation of the wounded, detection of submarines, reconnaissance, search for sea mines and fire support for ground forces units.
