ARCAS Sight
Gone are the days when the electronic filling of an assault rifle or submachine gun was limited to a pair of sights (optical and night vision ) that allow a soldier to make an accurate shot.
The novelty of modern technologies is the Assault Rifle Combat Application System (ARCAS) optical sight, developed by specialists of the Israeli company Elbit Systems, thanks to artificial intelligence, not only turns an ordinary assault rifle into a portable combat information center, but also allows you to fire from around a corner. The ARCAS with a computer is mounted in the front of the handle, and the electro-optical sight is under the barrel. An AI computer reads information from the sight and other ARCAS devices, while simultaneously diagnosing the technical condition of the weapon.

Then the processed information through the eyepiece of the sight or the wireless version of the augmented reality helmet becomes available to the shooter. The obtained data will help him to determine the range to the target at any time of the day, adjust the speed and distance, the presence of fire from other weapons, identify " his " and "strangers", identify technical problems of the rifle. The video system makes it possible to fire from around the corner, from the hip and adjust the accuracy of the weapon without firing a shot. The controls are a joystick button on the front handle and a graphical interface. The basic model includes a thermal imaging sight or a night vision device. According to the customer's requirements, the ARCAS configuration can be supplemented with equipment from a third-party manufacturer.
