The first group of 150 citizens of Uzbekistan went to work at Kamaz enterprises as part of an organized recruitment carried out in August.
This is reported by the news agency "Sputnik Uzbekistan" with reference to the Agency for External Migration of the republic.
"After successfully passing the competition within the framework of the agreement between the agency of Kamaz PJSC, the first 150 citizens of Uzbekistan with positive results of medical examinations were sent for temporary employment at the enterprises of the Russian automobile plant," the ministry said.
In August, representatives of Kamaz held a competition to recruit up to 400 citizens of Uzbekistan to work at the factories of the Russian automaker. According to the results of the selection, locksmiths of mechanical and assembly works, transporters, stamp makers were able to get a job.
It is noted that the Russian automobile plant will pay for their flight, provide accommodation and registration of documents for work in Russia. Payment for meals will be made at the expense of partial deduction from the wages of the attracted employees.
The agreement on the organized recruitment of Uzbek citizens for temporary work in Russia was signed in 2017. In January—August 2021, 51.7 thousand Uzbeks have already gone to work in Russia with a total population of more than 35 million people, writes Eadaily.
